Recruiting Solutions is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials throughout our facility. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials, as well as maintaining accurate inventory records. Responsibilities :

Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against packing slips or purchase orders

Unload materials from delivery vehicles and transport them to designated storage areas

Organize and maintain inventory storage locations to ensure efficient use of space

Prepare materials for production by picking and staging items according to job orders

Assist with loading and unloading trucks for outbound shipments

Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies with inventory records

Keep accurate records of material transactions using computerized systems or manual logs

Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to company policies and procedures

Collaborate with other team members to optimize workflow and meet production deadlines

Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner

Requirements :

High school diploma or equivalent

Previous experience in a similar role preferred

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 50 pounds

Proficiency in basic computer skills, including data entry and inventory management software

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification

Knowledge of safety protocols for material handling operations
