Responsibilities and Duties
Maintain overall dental care responsibility for management of dental services to each patientPerform dental assessments, radiographic exams, and all dental treatment including emergency oral surgery, restorative dentistry, and periodontal therapy within the scope of general dentistryFormulate working diagnoses, develop and implement treatment plans, and evaluate or modify therapeutic regimens to promote positive patient outcomesEvaluate all patients returning from offsite dental visitsParticipate in training and orientation of healthcare staffProvide oral hygiene education and discharge instructions to all patients seenSupervise and coach dental assistantsEnsure sterilization and disinfection of equipmentAdditional Information
Active Arizona dental license requiredCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and DEA certifications requiredFamiliarity with TechCare EMR preferredProviders with experience in high-volume clinic settings are highly desirableAssignment start is dependent on completion of all credentialing requirements, including paperwork, TB, and drug testingBenefits
