Self-Scheduled3rd Shift : 7 PM - 7 AMFTE : 0.9 (12-hour shifts)2 Mondays & 2 Fridays per 6-week schedule1 Weekend every 6 weeks2 Holidays : 1 Summer & 1 WinterRNs will be trained in ACLS, NIH, IV Ultrasound, and cross-trained as Charge RNs.Position Overview :
As a Float Pool Registered Nurse, you'll work across various units including ED Boarding, Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and ICU at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center. Embrace the opportunity for variety and growth with every shift.
Responsibilities :
Float between Med / Surg, Telemetry, ED Boarding, and ICU support units.Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.Adapt quickly to varied unit workflows while maintaining clinical excellence.What We're Looking For :
Experience : Minimum of 18 months in Med / Surg or Telemetry (2 years preferred).Flexibility : Availability to work designated days per 6-week schedule.Required Training & Skills :
ACLS, NIHSS, IV Ultrasound training provided.Leadership skills through Charge Nurse cross-training.Your Benefits :

The position involves comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, ensuring safe, therapeutic care by adhering to established standards. You'll participate in patient assessments, implement individualized care plans, and actively coordinate discharge plans.
Licenses & Certifications :
Registered Nurse license in the practicing state.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the AHA.Education :
Completion of an accredited nursing program.
Required Experience :
Typically requires at least 1 year in clinical nursing.
