Join Our Innovative Team as a Civil Structural Engineer
Are you a highly skilled and detail-oriented Civil Structural Engineer with a passion for innovative design and a valid California PE license? We're looking for an experienced professional to lead the design and analysis of light gauge steel framing systems for diverse projects including commercial, residential, and mixed-use buildings.

What You'll Do :
- Design, analyze, and detail cold-formed steel structures in accordance with California Building Code (CBC), AISI, and ASCE standards.
- Prepare structural calculations, drawings, and specifications for submittals and permitting.
- Stamp and sign structural documents as Engineer of Record for projects within California.
- Perform structural modeling using industry-leading tools like RISA, CFS, SAP2000, Revit, Telka Structures, and / or AutoCAD.
- Coordinate seamlessly with architects, MEP engineers, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stay ahead of the curve on industry codes, materials, and best practices specific to light gauge steel systems.
- Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and provide crucial construction administration support.
- Mentor junior engineers and drafters, providing quality control and expert technical guidance.
What You'll Bring :
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.REQUIRED : An active California PE License (this is a must-have!)5+ years of hands-on structural engineering experience with a strong emphasis on light gauge steel systems.Proficiency in relevant structural analysis software (e.g., RISA, CFS, ETABS, STAAD, AutoCAD).Strong knowledge of cold-formed steel design, lateral systems, and seismic considerations.Excellent verbal and written communication skills you're a team player!Ability to expertly manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.Bonus Points for (Preferred Qualifications) :
Experience with design-build delivery or coordination with panelized / prefabricated systems.Familiarity with DSA or OSHPD project requirements (strongly desired).A PE License in other states.An SE License (Structural Engineer CA) is a plus, but not required.Compensation & Benefits :
