Engineer Software
At Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS), Bellevue, NE is currently seeking an Engineer Software. The successful candidates will demonstrate a broad skill set balanced between interpersonal and technical capabilities achieving sustainable quality products. They will have a track record as an effective communicator and problem solver who is able to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The selected candidates will participate in the entire software development lifecycle with a concentration in software engineering. The candidates will work closely with other software developers accomplishing the following :
Basic Qualifications for an Engineer Software :
A high school diploma with a minimum of 6 years of software development experience
A high school diploma with a minimum of 9 years of software development experience
Experience as a Full Stack Software Developer. Demonstrated experience in C, C++. Proven experience with Linux OS. Familiarity with relational database management systems (Oracle / PDBs) and SQL. Working knowledge of the Agile development processes. Familiarity with Test automation practices and tools (Integration testing, Unit testing, QFTest). Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with small technical teams. Ability to prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish project results. Ability to obtain / maintain access to work full time on-site in Bellevue, NE. Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.
Position is Contingent upon Award Preferred Qualifications :
Salary Range : $77,200.00 - $115,800.00 Salary Range 2 : $95,300.00 - $142,900.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and / or personal business.
