This role goes beyond traditional events parking; it is about building positive relationships with the public, promoting fair parking practices, and ensuring our community remains accessible for everyone.
The mission of the Allentown Parking Authority is to operate, monitor, and maintain convenient and accessible parking facilities and on-street parking opportunities within the City of Allentown. The Allentown Parking Authority works to balance the parking needs of residents, employees, business and property owners, and visitors while enforcing parking ordinances and providing appropriate access to parking.
The Part-time Events Staff are team members dedicated to providing efficient and reliable parking solutions to the community during events. We manage parking for a variety of events, and our goal is to ensure a smooth experience for all attendees. As part of the Event Staff team, you will be responsible for assisting with the organization and management of parking operations during special events. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in ensuring that attendees have a positive experience by providing clear directions, managing parking flow, and maintaining safety standards. We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as part-time Event Staff. The Part-time Event Staff reports directly to the Manager / Supervisor of Events.
