Project Coordinator

Kimley-Horn is looking for a Project Coordinator to join our Akron, OH office! This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities

  • Read and review construction drawings to complete item take offs, build BOM / SOW
  • Submit permits to varying jurisdictions
  • Track permit approvals and rejection comments
  • Coordinate follow ups with jurisdictions on gating items for permit approvals
  • Update multiple tracking systems and review for accuracy

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of experience coordinating projects for national / corporate clients
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Proficient in Adobe Professional
  • Strong proofing, formatting and editing skills
  • Positive, client-oriented, take-charge attitude
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Capable of managing and balancing multiple tasks / priorities and performing well under deadline pressure
  • Ability to work well with various types of people and in a team environment
  • Ability to travel on a limited basis
