About the Role

The Company is seeking a new Head of School to lead its close-knit, multicultural community. The successful candidate will be a warm, authentic people-person, eager to connect with and become an integral part of the school. They must be a strategic and decisive leader, capable of operating at the right level, delegating, and, if necessary, saying "no" to stay true to their vision. Clear and charismatic communication is essential, as is a genuine passion for delivering independent, Montessori, and IB education. The role presents an opportunity to build brand awareness, promote clarity and unity in the educational approach, support and develop staff, and strengthen the school's philanthropic culture.

The ideal Head of School will be a visionary leader and a capable manager, with the ability to set a clear vision and execute it effectively. They will be responsible for assessing staffing levels, developing a budget that supports an appropriately sized team, and building a strong, empowered staff. The role also involves a focus on fundraising and instilling the value of financial contributions within the school community. While experience in Montessori programs is preferred, the position is open to any progressive educator who can bring a marketing mindset and a commitment to learning about the school's educational values. The Head of School will work closely with the Board of Trustees and the Interim Head to ensure a smooth transition and a solid foundation for the school's future growth.
