ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Charleston, South Carolina.

Job Details : \n

  • Work as Med Surg Float Pool RN with 3x12 hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM

    • \n

  • 36 hours per week guaranteed

    • \n

  • Minimum of 3-4 weekend shifts required per schedule

    • \n

  • Holiday rotation required

    • \n

  • Float to med surg floors at Main hospital and Ashley River tower

    • \n

  • Patient ratios may vary depending on unit assigned (typically 6 : 1)

    • \n

  • Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

    • \n

  • 2 years of nursing experience required

    • \n

  • First-time travelers accepted

    • \n

  • South Carolina or Multi-State / Compact State RN License required

    • \n

  • BLS certification required

    • \n

  • Scrub requirements : Solid Royal Blue or White top with Royal blue bottoms

    • \n

  • EPIC charting system used

    • \n

  • Skills include isolation precautions, med / surg care, oxygen administration, IV management, and rapid response team utilization

    • \n

  • Care for adult patients with various medical-surgical diagnoses

    • \n

  • Block schedule accommodations possible with manager approval

    • \n

  • During hurricane season (June-November), may be assigned to emergency response teams

    • \n\n

The facility operates 820 staffed beds and provides comprehensive medical services with interdisciplinary support including rapid response teams.
