Senior Development Quality Assurance (DQA) Engineer

Job Description Summary

The Senior Development Quality Assurance (DQA) Engineer conducts independent assessment of engineering compliance to systems rules and processes to ensure fulfillment of internal and external requirements. They will ensure that projects and products are capable and will meet applicable standards and requirements. The Senior DQA Engineer has a comprehensive in-depth understanding of industry and regulatory requirements standards and practices in aerospace systems software and hardware. Through prior or gained experience in role the DQA Engineer may also be a candidate for development as a Specialist Regulatory Compliance Engineer (RCE).

Job Description

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Assure that products developed by GE Aerospace are the result of suitable rigorous and structured processes
• Conduct assessments / audits of engineering development activities to gauge compliance with applicable regulatory industrial and company standards including but not limited to :

RTCA / DO-178B / C

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
