About the Role :
Confidential leadership opportunity based in Phoenix, AZKey role in managing and delivering public works projectsBuild and maintain strong client relationshipsMentor, supervise, and expand an engineering teamKey Responsibilities :
Lead and manage all aspects of public works infrastructure projectsSupervise, mentor, and grow a team of engineering designers and project engineers / managersAssign daily work, review deliverables, and implement quality assurance and control proceduresManage project schedules and budgets, including preparation of contracts, fee proposals, and scopes of workOversee and coordinate multiple projects concurrently with internal teams and external partnersCoordinate staffing and workload to deliver projects on time and within budgetDrive business development efforts, maintaining and expanding client relationships with public agenciesDemonstrate independent decision-making and effective problem-solving in a leadership capacityEstablish and maintain strong working relationships with clients, public agency personnel, and internal colleaguesEngineering Disciplines,Project Managers
Key Requirements :
Minimum of 10 years of public works experienceArizona Professional Civil Engineer registration in good standingSignificant experience in business development, client management, and public agency interactionsProven ability to grow and manage talented staffFamiliarity with the Phoenix valley and ideally an existing local network or book of businessProficiency in MS Office and MS ProjectStrong management and supervisory skillsWork Environment :
This is a full-time, in-office position in Phoenix, AZPotential for limited hybrid flexibility (1–2 days / week) after 6–12 months, based on performance and tenureCandidates must be local to the Phoenix area
