At Robb & Stucky we believe everyone should have the opportunity to create their own unique and stylish home. We seek a creative and talented Design Consultant to join our Fort Myers showroom.

Key Elements of the Position

The ideal candidate will conceptualize visually stunning interiors, develop a solid client base and pipeline, and handle sales transactions, returns and special orders while ensuring accurate documentation. They will collaborate with design assistants, management, customer service and office support, and represent the company positively to the public.

Essential Functions and Basic Duties

Work one‑on‑one with customers who visit our well‑appointed retail showrooms.

Prepare design presentations on a project basis, structured or unstructured, including visual media such as fabrics, finishes, photos and floor plans in‑house or digitally.

Provide accurate measurements to our CAD Team for studio presentations and assist with room‑planner or CAD sessions.

Handle sales functions efficiently, including processing transactions, returns and special orders.

Complete sales records and reports accurately.

Establish and maintain good interpersonal relations with clients.

Project a genuinely positive company image to the public.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design preferred; 2–4 years related experience or equivalent education / experience in high‑end furniture sales.

Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Excellent communication, administrative, and customer‑service skills.

Ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and work independently.

Experience or familiarity with CAD and moderate proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; reliable personal transportation with state‑required insurance is required.

Solid math abilities.
