Accounts Payable Manager
The Accounts Payable (AP) Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's accounts payable function within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role requires a strong accounting foundation and a comprehensive understanding of US GAAP to ensure the accuracy, compliance, and integrity of all payables-related activities. The AP Manager will play a key role in managing vendor relationships and collaborating with internal stakeholders to drive operational efficiency, process improvement, and financial accuracy.
Key responsibilities include :
- Direct and manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable process, including invoice validation, payment execution, vendor management, and expense reporting.
- Ensure all financial transactions are recorded in accordance with US GAAP, internal policies, and corporate accounting standards.
- Lead, develop, and mentor the AP team to achieve high levels of performance, accuracy, and customer service.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, procurement, operations, and other internal departments to support effective communication and issue resolution.
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities related to Accounts Payable, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals.
- Support internal and external audit processes by providing documentation, analysis, and responses to inquiries.
- Identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements to strengthen internal controls and increase operational efficiency.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including aging analysis, payment trends, and cash disbursement metrics.
- Responsible for monthly AP disbursement budgeting and the reporting on budget vs actual variances.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable tax and regulatory reporting requirements, including 1099 filings.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline required.Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable or Accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.Solid understanding of US GAAP and accounting principles.Experience in a manufacturing or production-driven organization strongly preferred.Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite; advanced Excel skills required.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.Ideal candidate attributes :

Pay Range :
The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 71,100.00 - 132,100.00.
