Dermatologist – Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities Available Location :

Your Role :

  • As a Dermatologist at Tryon, you'll play a vital role in diagnosing and treating a broad spectrum of skin, hair, and nail conditions.
  • You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues across specialties to ensure comprehensive, quality care for every patient.

    • Key Responsibilities :

  • Diagnose and treat skin disorders, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin cancers, and more Perform skin screenings, biopsies, and minor dermatologic procedures Prescribe appropriate treatments, including medications and topical therapies Educate patients on preventive skincare and ongoing treatment plans Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in our EMR system (Athena) Refer to other specialists as needed Stay informed on the latest dermatological advancements and best practices Qualifications : Board Certified in Dermatology MD or DO from an accredited medical school Active North Carolina medical license (or eligibility to obtain) Completion of a dermatology residency program (minimum 4 years) Proficient with dermatologic instruments and procedures Excellent interpersonal, communication, and patient care skills Comfortable using electronic medical records (EMR); experience with Athena a plus What We Offer : Up to 6 weeks of paid time off annually (prorated for part-time roles), plus 7 paid holidays Medical, dental, and vision insurance Company-paid life, short- and long-term disability, and AD&D insurance Pet insurance options Financial wellness resources , including BrightDime coaching and tools 401(k) with profit sharing Free primary care services for benefit-eligible employees and eligible dependents (including adult children over 18) Become part of a practice that puts people first—patients and team members alike.
