Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med / Surg position requiring at least 2 years of acute care experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

Work in the Clinical Support Unit on a Med / Surg unit within an acute care hospital

Night shifts from 7p-7a with 12-hour shift length

Weekend shifts as needed

Floating to other locations within the facility required

Uses Epic EMR for charting

Orientation includes 24 hours of onboarding

No blocked scheduling or special scheduling requests allowed

Travelers who were previously permanent employees must have a one-year separation before eligibility for travel contracts

Weekend and holiday coverage may be required as per unit needs

Floating support and teamwork expected in a dynamic clinical support environment

\n \n Requirements\n

Active ID or compact RN license required and must be current at consideration

Current BLS certification required

Minimum of 2 years of recent Med / Surg experience in an acute care setting

Epic EMR experience required or strongly preferred

Submission must include a copy of driver's license

Two professional references required : one from a supervisor within the last 12 months and one from a peer or supervisor within the last 3 years, including employment dates and rehire eligibility

No local candidates within a 50-mile radius eligible
