Job Summary

As a Host / Hostess , you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a lasting impression by providing a warm and friendly welcome. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an unforgettable dining experience from the moment they walk through the door. This entry-level position is ideal for those who are eager to learn and grow in the hospitality industry, and who have a natural ability to make others feel comfortable and valued.

Responsibilities

Greet guests with a genuine smile and friendly demeanor, creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Manage the reservation system, seating guests promptly and efficiently, and maintaining an organized seating chart.

Provide accurate wait times and keep guests informed of the status of their table.

Anticipate and address guest needs, such as special requests or accommodations.

Answer phone calls and provide information about the restaurant and its offerings.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host / hostess station and lobby area.

Assist with maintaining cleanliness in the dining room, bar area, and restrooms.

Qualifications

No previous experience is required; we provide on-the-job training!

Must be at least 18 years old.

Friendly and outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal skills.

Ability to work and remain calm in a fast-paced, humid, and noisy environment.

Strong communication skills and ability to multitask effectively.

Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.

Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Willing to stand on your feet for long periods of time.
