STAHL Companies provides the Program Management for its Channel of Commercial Technology companies in Government that consist of Small Businesses and New Technology start-ups.

STAHL advocates for policies that can improve government services and maintain our government's competitive advantage, by bringing more technology into government programs.

STAHL Companies advocates on behalf of our nation's innovative, new technology and small businesses looking to work with the U.S. government. We do this by aligning the voice of our small business members with advocacy for change in federal policy that will make the government market more accessible to small businesses and the commercial technology ecosystem.

The Channel's founding Technical Board Members include former government leaders and IT executives passionate about bringing best-of-breed technology to the government.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Information Technology (IT) Services to join our team!

Responsibilities :

• Oversee the daily performance of computer systems and answer user inquiries regarding
• Review IT project requests describing user requirements to estimate time and cost required to accomplish project.
• Analyze computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems.
• Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
• Provide technical assistance and support.
• Assist users in filling out and tracking status of Information Technology Procurement Review (ITPR) waivers for procurement of IT equipment.
• Work as part of a project team to coordinate program development and determine project scope and limitations.
• Have experience writing code using programming languages (e.g., Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), MATLAB, Python) or be capable of learning them to be able to modify existing code.
• Develop methods for integrating different products so they work properly together (e.g., customizing commercial IT systems, peripherals, accessories, software, and applications) to fit specific needs.
• Make database changes.
• Identify and evaluate industry trends in IT systems and database systems to serve as a source of information and advice for upper management.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard information in computer files against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification, or disclosure.
• Develop standards and guidelines for use in the acquisition of software and to protect vulnerable information.
