Service Division Manager
The successful candidate will have a minimum of ten (10) years of commercial HVAC experience, including servicing, repairing, and installing commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems; heat pumps; and refrigeration systems.
This position includes assisting and supervising service technician(s), project estimating and sales, customer relations, and hands-on service work. Responsibilities will include preventive maintenance service, emergency service, repairs, and installations. Hourly wage is based on skill level and experience. Some overtime should be expected based on workload.
Requirements :
- Universal CFC certification required; HVAC license preferred.
- 10+ years of HVAC Service Management experience.
- Proven experience leading an HVAC service team or department.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC electrical controls.
- Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
- Leadership and / or supervisory experience preferred.
- Backflow testing certification a plus.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to meet company driving requirements.
- Some state-wide travel may be required, with occasional overnight stays (infrequent).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment within a diverse team.
- Must be able to read, write, and understand technical specifications, manufacturer documentation, and engineering plans.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with engineers, customers, and all building trades.
- Must be able to safely access construction sites, mechanical rooms, rooftops, and other areas where equipment may be located.
