Job Summary :
The Foundation Development Director oversees the implementation of a strategic approach to fundraising efforts which include major gifts, planned giving, and kind-donations. Looks for financial support from business, organizations and individuals. Strengthens relationships with existing donors. Identifies and stewards prospective donors. Creates and implements a comprehensive development plan designed to address the specific financial needs of the Hospitals.
Minimum Job Requirements :
Work Experience :
Five years of management experience required. Work experience in fundraising, with first-hand in broad-based program and personnel management. Experience playing a key role in a major capital campaign; preferably in healthcare setting.

Education and Training :
Master’s degree in a related field is required.
Skills :
- In-depth knowledge of fundraising theory and practice, donor acknowledgment processes, stewardship program design and implementation, and special events coordination.

- Technology skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and event management software. Familiarity with donor and prospecting tools, such as Blackbaud.
- Flexibility : Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays, as required by the event schedule. Travel may also be required.
