Instructional Specialist - PE (Effective 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR)

SUMMARY

Instruct students in Physical Education related to TUSD curriculum.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma or G.E.D.

AND

Completion of an AZ Department of Education-approved Academic Assessment Test OR 60 Semester-Hour credits at an institute of higher learning (Copy of diploma transcripts or test results must be submitted at time of hire).

Two (2) years of experience with youth is a school classroom setting.

OR

Associates (or higher) degree

Copy of diploma transcripts or test results must be submitted at time of hire.

Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend

written / graphic and oral instructions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience as a teacher aide.

Bilingual in English and Spanish

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE

FBI fingerprint background check.

Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles) or proof of MMR immunization.

Location : Davis Bilingual Magnet Elementary School-6th Ave & Main Area

Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
