GDIT is seeking qualified candidates for the Mission Training Complex Capabilities Support II (MTCCS II) program. GDIT delivers individual sustainment through collective mission command training, leadership training / development, Warfighter Functions (WFF) training, first person simulations (Gaming), and constructive simulations supported training from Squad through Division levels. Technical integration between simulation and C4I systems. Establish / maintain training and exercise networks. Accomplish Risk Management Framework (RMF) certification and accreditation security and risk management activities.

HOW A NETWORK OPERATIONS SPECIALIST I WILL MAKE AN IMPACT :

• Join a team of Network Operations Specialists in the maintenance of MTC Network Infrastructure in support of simulation operations.
• Operate and maintain Cisco network equipment to include routers, layer 2 / 3 switches, Cisco Unified Call Manager (CUCM) and VOIPs; knowledge of Windows server and clients is preferred.
• Deploy, operate, maintain, implement security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection / prevention systems, antivirus, and encryption (Taclane).
• Exercise network protocols, architectures, and security measures like VPN and IDS / IPS.
• In depth knowledge of networking concepts and protocols, and network security methodologies.
• Conducts periodic auditing and compliance checks to assess vulnerabilities of the network and systems.
• Receive and interpret vulnerability scans to remediate network vulnerabilities.
• Safeguards the network against unauthorized infiltration, modification, destruction, or disclosure.
• Performs other duties as required.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $28.91 - $39.11. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
