About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive team. The CFO will be a key member of the leadership team, working closely with the Division GM and Corporate Executive Team to prepare the company for a potential private equity sale. This role is pivotal in managing all finance, accounting, and IT-related requirements, including the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, financial simulations, forecasting, and tax implications. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of 7 and must have a strong background in finance, particularly in the context of product and manufacturing, with a preference for experience in the defense sector.
Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in finance or business administration and a proven track record in leading, analyzing, and reporting on financial matters. Experience in product and manufacturing is essential, and additional experience in M&A, involvement in a PE sale, and knowledge of FAR / DFAR (Defense / Government Accounting) are considered a plus. The role requires a candidate with excellent team leadership and mentoring skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced, decentralized environment. Proficiency in Excel and GAAP is a must, and the CFO will be expected to have strong communication and presentation skills for reporting and presenting findings to both the corporate and PE firm representatives.
