Leidos' Defense Systems Sensor Innovation Portfolio is seeking a Radar Signal Processing Engineer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex sensor and radar orientated problems. This position affords new or experienced engineers continued opportunities to learn and grow in technical knowledge of sensor and radar systems. The department encourages and frequently incorporates new ideas from all employees into our many sensor projects which span the entire DoD ecosystem. Opportunities for advancement into senior technical roles, as well as project or personnel management are also available.

Primary Responsibilities

• Research and development of advanced digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms
• High-fidelity radar and RF modeling, simulation, and analysis. Related tool feature development and maintenance
• Integration and field testing of RF sensors and systems
• CONUS / OCONUS deployment of advanced sensor systems
• A variety of tasks related to signal processing, measurement tracker processing, system performance metrics, sensor simulation, or utility tools as part of larger efforts or customer goals will be assigned. In this role, your organizational skills will be paramount and managing multiple tasks while ensuring the work remains compatible with the group's larger codebases.

Pay Range :

Pay Range $67,600.00 - $122,200.00
