FoxTrot Aviation Services is seeking a consistently hard working Operations Manager who is committed to reliable quality service, customer relationships, and building a rock steady team.
Applicants must have a background in supervisory roles or management, be willing to perform very physical work, and have open schedule availability.
a. Lead aircraft CIC removal in cramped spaces while wearing bulky PPE
b. Operate buffing machines, carpet cleaning machines, ladders, and lifts
c. Complete checklists after every job to ensure quality control
d. Organize the right-size team for cleaning aircraft of all shapes and sizes
e. Ensure safety standards are upheld at all times during operations
f. Manage inventory and place orders through the Logistics Manager
g. Manage labor to align with customer demand and operational budget
h. Track location revenue and partner with leadership to meet profitability targets
i. Monitor and take ownership of site-level P&L performance
Success metric is 100% checklist compliance and zero quality complaints
a. Personally connect with all customers daily to confirm aircraft scheduling needs
b. Ensure the team has sufficient hours to meet set performance and financial goals
c. Sell additional services to clients as needed, in coordination with the Program Manager
d. Proactively communicate challenges and successes to leadership, with a focus on solutions
Success metric is hitting revenue and labor goals with high customer satisfaction
a. Maintain positive, daily communication with the team
b. Set elevation goals (development plans) for each team member with leadership support
c. Train team members in quality work, checklist use, and safety protocols
d. Partner with the back office to post job ads, conduct interviews, and hire candidates who align with our five core values : GRIT, Solidarity, Client Focus, Safety, and Accountability. Coordinate with the back office to ensure timely badging and onboarding
e. Complete disciplinary documentation as needed to support team accountability
f. Complete call-off and tardy forms in real time to track attendance
g. Advocate for raises and recognition for high-performing team members
h. Support other teams and travel to other locations to strengthen our network
i. Maintain the company vehicle and ensure regular upkeep
Success metric is less than 35% annual full-time turnover at the location
The Operations Manager reports to the Regional Manager and works closely with the Aviation Supervisor and location leads to ensure 7-day-per-week coverage for FoxTrot's clients.
