Billing Specialist

Summary : The Billing Specialist is responsible for maintaining adequate cash flow to maintain center operations and is expected to interact with staff members in a professional manner in order to meet patient and Center billing needs.

Hours : This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work a flexible schedule. General daytime hours Monday - Friday.

Location : Marlton, NJ

Position Responsibilities / Duties :

• Posting payments and adjustments accurately and timely from third party billing sources into computer system
• Follow-up / collections on denied claims from all third party carriers as back up only
• Responds to claim inquiry requests from all third party carriers as back up only
• Maintains accurate filing system
• Scrubs previous day's encounters to ensure CPT& ICD code accuracy before submission to third party carriers
• Filing lockbox / Receivables ensuring totals from daily cash receipts match deposits
• Reset log from adjusting patient account
• Generates and mails insurance claim forms to third party insurances
• Fax Request on Patient (Statement Account) to Attorney's Office
