Administrative Assistant, Minimum Salary : $37, per year, USCA Campus Recreation and Wellness
This position will provide administrative and paraprofessional support to the Department of Campus Recreation and Wellness training and development of employees in customer service; database management; records and reports; events and programs). Knowledge / Skills / Abilities : Extensive knowledge of office procedures, policies and practices. Proven customer service skills. Employee must be self-directed and able to work independently, possess excellent oral, written, communication, and organizational skills; have the ability to work collaboratively with students, faculty, and staff; and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Curiosity and desire to learn new things. Ability to learn software platforms used by USC and USC Aiken. Minimum Requirements : High school diploma or GED and 1 or more years of job related experience. Preferred : Bachelors Degree or High School diploma and 4 years work experience that is directly related to the area of employment. Application deadline : September 10, . Job Duties Job Duty Provides administrative support and handles the office management for the Department of Campus Recreation & Wellness; completes paperwork associated with reimbursements, expenses, payroll, purchases and contracts. Reconciles credit card purchases. Generates monthly budget reports. Oversees payroll procedures and serves as the liaison with the Business Services office. Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 30 Job Duty Maintains records, databases and personnel files of employees, onboarding training, processes hiring paperwork and serves as the liaison with Human Resources. Includes student employees and temporary employees. Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 20 Job Duty Provides customer service training for employees. Manages marketing and communication within the department and members including signage in DCRW facilities, email communication, web page updates and input for social media. Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 20 Job Duty Plans and implements department wide events including employee training, open house events and other programming throughout the semester. Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 10 Job Duty Assists with scheduling Cardiac Rehab patient consultations, phone calls to patients and physicians, cardiac rehab paperwork and logistics.
