What will I be doing?
The Manager of Group Sales executes group sales strategy, initiating contact with existing and potential clients to meet goals and objectives in all assigned areas for the resort group sales department across the HGV brand. In this capacity, the position has responsibility for contracting groups requiring 10 rooms or more per night. Additionally, the position is responsible for representing the HGV brand with convention / visitors bureaus (CVB) and Hilton Worldwide destination marketing clusters, where applicable, to develop and execute group sales strategies.
Minimum 4 years in hospitality environment. Basic to intermediate computer skills with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Internet. Strong attention to detail, as well as keen analytical skills. Person should have a strong sense of inquisitiveness, with a thirst for knowledge. Ability to work independently and collaboratively to achieve objectives. Excellent interpersonal skills with effective communication both orally and in writing. Excellent organizational and task management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects, meet deadlines and work effectively under time and resource constraints.
