Treasury Analyst - Anchorage, AK

Job Description

Under the direction of the Director, Treasury, the Treasury Analyst is responsible for a broad range of financial duties primarily focusing on Treasury Operations activities. Responsibilities will include the management of the enterprise cash liquidity, cash forecasting, and various work-flows critical to the financial operations of the company. The Analyst will work with the Treasury team to communicate complex financial concepts when necessary and is expected to identify areas to improve work-flow functions, create analyses that enhance decision-making, and work in collaboration with various companies and departments across the enterprise. The position will include management and administration of treasury software and banking systems, corporate credit card administration, and financial institution-corporation liaison. This is a "hands on" position where a high level of service delivery and relations with other departments and subsidiaries of the corporation is required.

Responsibilities

• Corporate treasury activities with a focus on ensuring there is an adequate amount of working capital available to finance the daily operations of the businesses across the enterprise.
• Cash flow forecasts, comparison to actual, and reporting to senior management.
• Assuring timely and accurate payments of debt and debt-related interest, tracking and presenting market data for distribution, preparing company wire and payment transfers, and training in the financial systems utilized by our department.
• Adheres to strict compliance with financial controls, processes and standards.
• Administers banking and financial institution online portals effectively.
• Manages and administers corporate credit card programs effectively.
• Recommends modifications to established practices, policies, procedures and workflows to improve security, efficiency and profitability.
• Working well with other departments to pursue company objectives, and willingness to cross-train and learn processes and procedures outside of daily responsibilities.
• Bank statement analysis.
• Liaise with internal / external stakeholders.
• Letter of credit management.
• Executes borrowing / investment transactions.
• Contribute to the cash management strategy.
• Evaluate new banking products and services.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of bank account, balance, bank / treasury systems.
• Support credit card program management and administration.
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Perform complex analysis of proposed transactions and business cases, documents and presents conclusions.
• Effective project management skills are critical in this role : Successfully manages multiple short-term and long-term projects simultaneously and reports progress in an effective and timely manner to supervisor, subsidiary and corporate management.
• Communicates effectively in writing and orally with management and team members.
• Complies with all policies and procedures and state and federal laws and regulations.
• Experience in presenting information to peers and executive management in written and oral form.
• Inherently motivated and highly committed to independently complete assigned tasks.
• Motivated to maintain advanced knowledge and awareness of industry status and trends.

Weather : Indoors - environmentally controlled; requires most or all work to be done inside.

Noise level : The noise level in the work environment is usually that of a standard office atmosphere.

Description of environment : Office building with standard office environment. Must have the ability to work remotely as needed and in accordance with NANA's remote work and hybrid polices and procedures.

Physical requirements : Employee is required to occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 lbs. Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands / fingers to handle or feel, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk / hear, see, taste / smell, and carry weight / lift.

Travel : Occasional travel for training purposes on a case by case basis.

The position requires reading, detailed work, problem solving, interactions with other companies including other NANA companies, reasoning, math, language, presentations, verbal and written communication, analytical reasoning, will require the employee in the position to manage multiple concurrent tasks, and handle constant interruptions.
