Job Description

Post-Cath Care Registered Nurse

Location

Smyrna, TN

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM

Every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Post-Cath Care Unit. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and a strong commitment to teamwork and problem-solving. Experience with TR band care and advanced pulmonary treatments is crucial.

Responsibilities

  • Provide post-cath care to patients, including monitoring and medication titration.
  • Ensure proper care and monitoring of TR bands.
  • Conduct medication teaching and comply with patient experience requirements, including AIDET and communication boards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Experience in a similar care setting preferred.
  • Must demonstrate advanced skills in patient care, particularly related to post-cath protocols.
