Job Description :

Candidate will be responsible for testing SW & HW on test platform using client modem chipsets as well as executing test cases and test scenarios and various traffic patterns to characterize physical / MAC layers, protocol layers and applications layers.

• Familiarity with air interface performance analysis, characterization and optimization.
• Exposure to programming in C, Perl, Shell Scripting is a plus
• Experience using QC tools like QXDM, QCAT, XCAL, TEMs
• Exposure to commercial field test and data analysis tools for wireless telephony product verification
• Exposure in one or more of the following areas : - Understanding of Physical / MAC layers and Call Processing concepts - Understanding of wire line and wireless data protocol stacks, to include RLP, PPP, IP, TCP, IPV6, MPIV6 - Understanding of software development and testing concepts for wireless handset for various air interface standards - Familiarity with IP telephony network (SIP, IMS and IP telephony standards Driving Requirements : Yes, 40 hrs min.
