The General Surgery locum tenens opportunity in Oklahoma :

• Location : 100 miles to Oklahoma City and Dallas, TX
• Duration : Periodic Call Coverage
• Dates Needed : May 22 nd , 2019- May 28 th , 2019 and June 27 th , 2019-July 1 st , 2019 (Future Dates TBD and On-going)
• Schedule : Wednesday / Thursday- Tuesday, 7a- 7a
• Scope : Bread and butter GS, ER call and inpatient rounding
• Call Volume : Not high, usually about 3-4 calls on a weekend
• Patients : Typically no more than 4-7 in house on a weekend
• Required Procedures : Appendectomies, strangulated hernias, colons, gall bladder are main things that come in
• Support Staff : OR crew 2 scrub techs, circulators and anesthesia.
• Group : 3 General Surgeons
• EMR : Epic
• Hospital : 190 bed, Not-for-profit, Level III trauma center
• Required : Board certified or Board Eligible, Oklahoma license
