About the Role
The Company is in search of an Assistant Dean for its Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program. The successful candidate will be a key figure in the academic leadership team, with a primary focus on the development and implementation of nursing curriculum, faculty and student support, and ensuring academic excellence. This role involves a wide range of responsibilities, including program planning, budgeting, compliance with regulatory standards, and serving as a liaison between the community and the college. The Assistant Dean will also be involved in faculty and staff recruitment, training, and maintaining educational partnerships with clinical sites.
Applicants for the Assistant Dean position must have a completed MSN, a current RN license, and a minimum of 2 years' experience in an administrative role, 2 years of teaching in nursing programs, and 2 years of direct patient care as a registered nurse. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as a commitment to diversity and the ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a collaborative leadership style, be adept at problem-solving, and have a proven track record in building consensus. Responsibilities also include student advocacy, policy development, and participation in professional associations.
