Minimum Qualifications :

• Bachelor e2 9019s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR Master e2 9019s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of academic or work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

Qualcomm is looking for a Senior Software Engineer who applies his technical knowledge and skills to develop embedded platform software for CPU, DSP, and NPU processors (and associated AI engines) in our Snapdragon SoC portfolio. In this role, you will utilize your solid foundation in embedded software, operating systems, and drivers – along with a deep understanding of high-performance processor architecture (multi-core, multi-threading, caching, etc.) – to deploy and optimize platform software for complex multimedia and machine learning use cases running on our SoCs. The ideal candidate has significant experience in C / C++ programming, real-time operating systems, driver development, and computer architecture, and has successfully optimized software on resource-constrained platforms. Experience with PCIe or Windows MCDM / WDDM driver stacks is a plus.

As part of the AI Infra team, you will work on software at all levels of the stack that enables DSP acceleration for AI inference, computer vision, video / audio processing, and more. Key responsibilities include :

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits

$111,300.00 - $166,900.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm, which also includes an annual discretionary bonus program and potential RSU grants.
