Opportunity Details Medicus is collaborating with a hospital in western Kentucky that has an opening for a skilled Interventional Cardiologist to provide locum coverage. Opening Details : Schedule : 24-hour call shifts, 3-7 days per month Setting : Inpatient / EMTALA call Patient Population : Adults Duties : Procedures, general cardiology consults as needed, and reading studies (including EKGs, ECHOs, and stress tests) Required Procedures : Balloon angioplasties, coronary angioplasties, percutaneous coronary interventions, heart catheterizations, and coronary angiograms Support Staff : 2 interventional cardiologists EMR : Epic Cupid Board certification required Paid travel & expenses During your time off, enjoy local barbecue, explore a historic downtown district, and stroll along a scenic riverwalk.
