We are a licensed general contracting and roofing firm specializing in residential and commercial construction throughout Florida.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Permit Coordinator to manage all aspects of permit administration, client communications, and project documentation.

This role is critical to keeping projects on track, compliant, and moving efficiently through municipal approval processes.

Key Responsibilities

Client Communication – Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding permit status, required documents, and project milestones.

Permit Management – Prepare, submit, and track building, roofing, and trade permits across multiple cities and counties.

Document Preparation & Submission – Complete forms, upload applications, and manage correspondence with local building departments.

Project Tracking – Maintain accurate logs of permit numbers, inspection dates, and project progress in company systems.

Plan & Scope Review – Coordinate with the General Contractor to verify that submitted plans and permit applications reflect the correct project scope.

NOAs & Product Approvals – Research, obtain, and organize Florida Product Approvals and NOAs (Notice of Acceptance) for construction materials.

Project Board Updates – Keep digital project boards and management tools updated with current permit statuses and milestones.

Milestone Documentation – Record inspections, approvals, and other key stages of each project.

Administrative Support – Handle general office duties, including filing, scanning, data entry, and communication with vendors or subcontractors as needed.

Compliance Support – Ensure all applications meet state, county, and municipal requirements, including noticing requirements (e.g., Notice of Commencement).

Inspection Coordination – Schedule inspections with municipalities and communicate results to project managers and clients.

The role is part-time and flexible scheduling. Will likely be a hybrid between in person and remote.
