Strategic Communications Leader

Twitch is seeking a strategic communications leader to head our global function. In this role, you'll define how Twitch shows up from traditional media and podcasts, to community forums, and the countless places where internet culture is made and conversation happens in real time. You'll set the strategy for how Twitch is represented across regions, shaping narratives, managing complex issues, and amplifying the voices of our creators and communities. This means understanding not just what stories to tell, but where and how to tell them in an increasingly fractured media landscapeknowing when to engage, when to let conversations unfold, and how to build influence across platforms where traditional playbooks don't always apply. Reporting to the CMO and working closely with senior leadership, you'll protect and grow Twitch's reputation, build trust with key stakeholders, and align communications with broader business priorities. You'll be an informed, authoritative voice in the room. Leading a high-performing global team and network of agency partners, you'll oversee media relations, distribution strategy, issues management, and unearth compelling storylines that resonate across diverse audiencesfrom creators and press to advertisers, regulators, and employees. You'll collaborate with regional leaders to localize messaging and ensure global narratives land with relevance and impact. You can work from Twitch's headquarters in San Francisco, CA; or from one of our US based hub locations in Seattle, WA; Irvine, CA; Los Angeles, CA or New York City, NY.

You Will :

• Direct and implement global communications strategies that promote Twitch, our service and offerings, and the community
• Develop cohesive and compelling narratives that land with press, the community, and Twitch employees
• Advise on strategic business decisions and direct company response on crises and emerging issues
• Establish an understanding of Twitch's community, product, and business
• Be a trusted, strategic advisor to peers and executives
• Work and think globally, and oversee roster of agencies
• Inspire, support, and develop a team of Comms professionals

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $140,500 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $232,400 / year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
