What Youll Be Doing

As a Prototype Engineer you will rapidly design and develop proof-of-concept (POC) solutions that demonstrate the art of the possible for AvePoints customers and internal teams. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to validate technical feasibility explore innovative approaches and accelerate adoption of AvePoint solutions. Once these proof-of-concept solutions have been validated they will be handed off to the product engineering teams who will deploy them to production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect develop and iterate on prototypes and POCs to validate new concepts and technologies.
• Collaborate with product engineering and customer-facing teams to understand requirements and constraints.
• Research and propose design options documenting trade-offs and performance considerations.
• Implement unit and system-level testing strategies to ensure quality and scalability.
• Summarize findings and present recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.
• Push the technical bar by experimenting with emerging technologies and frameworks relevant to AvePoints platform.
• Be self-guided and disciplined in managing time dealing well with ambiguity and leading hands-on technical work.

The Salary Range for this role is $125000 - $165000 . At AvePoint we strive to offer competitive fair and equitable total rewards. The listed salary range represents a good faith estimate with final offers based on location experience skills and qualifications. The listed range reflects base salary only; our total rewards include base salary comprehensive benefits (medical dental vision 401(k) with match unlimited PTO) and depending on the role bonuses commissions or equity (RSUs).
