Position Overview

We’re hiring an experienced Automotive Parts Counter Associate to support our fast-paced service department.

This is not a beginner-level role.

We need someone who can step in and contribute immediately with limited guidance.

The role includes handling the full parts process, assisting customers and technicians, managing inventory, and keeping operations smooth and accurate.

Job Type & Schedule

Job Type : Full-time

Schedule : Monday through Friday, rotating Saturdays

Compensation : $45,000 – $65,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day parts counter operations from start to finish

Work closely with the Parts Manager to source and locate unavailable items

Process and track special orders for customers and technicians

Provide timely and clear updates to customers regarding part availability and ETA

Maintain strong communication with service advisors, technicians, and vendors

Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and internal dealership policies

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in a dealership parts department required

Ford dealership experience strongly preferred

Strong working knowledge of vehicle components and parts systems

Capable of diagnosing part needs and solving issues quickly

Proficient in reading parts diagrams and using parts management software

Comfortable working on your feet and lifting up to 50 pounds

High school diploma or GED required

Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks under pressure
