Job Summary :

A full-time Program Director is sought to lead and oversee the Radiologic Technology academic program. This role involves managing curriculum development, faculty coordination, and program quality assurance. The Program Director also teaches courses and ensures alignment with accreditation standards and industry needs.

This position is ideal for a radiologic sciences professional with strong academic leadership, curriculum expertise, and teaching experience.

Key Responsibilities :

Program Oversight & Leadership :

Lead the ongoing development and review of curriculum and course content

Ensure consistency of instruction and program delivery across campuses

Select and maintain textbooks, instructional materials, and lab equipment

Coordinate with advisory boards to align program outcomes with industry needs

Oversee and develop clinical externship opportunities

Organize and facilitate annual faculty training and program reviews

Teaching & Instructional Duties :

Prepare and deliver lectures, labs, assignments, and assessments

Develop course syllabi, lesson plans, exams, and instructional resources

Monitor student attendance, participation, and academic progress

Provide feedback and academic support to students

Maintain accurate records and submit reports, grades, and evaluations

Administrative & Institutional Responsibilities :

Attend faculty meetings and contribute to academic committees

Participate in professional development and institutional events

Maintain professional licensure and certifications

Ensure classrooms and lab environments are properly equipped and maintained

Minimum Qualifications :

Master’s degree in Radiologic Sciences or a closely related field

At least 4 years of professional experience in the radiologic technology field

A minimum of 2 years teaching experience at a JRCERT-accredited institution

Current ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)

Preferred Experience :

Prior academic administration experience (e.g., department chair, program coordinator)

Experience teaching or managing programs in a career college or technical institution

Familiarity with professional and executive education environments

Key Skills and Competencies :

Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills

Excellent verbal and written communication

Ability to collaborate across disciplines and departments

Proficient in curriculum design and educational standards

Commitment to academic integrity and student success
