Respiratory Therapist (RT)

WorkFit Medical Staffing is seeking compassionate Respiratory Therapists to join our dynamic staffing team for a 13-week contract at a local hospital campus. In this role, you will provide a range of therapeutic and diagnostic services to patients with respiratory issues, working closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes. PAY RANGE : $73- $75 hourly!

3x12s on the NIGHT shift 7p - 7a

You will be responsible for performing diagnostic tests, managing ventilators, administering medications, and educating patients and their families on respiratory care. If you are dedicated to improving the quality of life for patients and are ready to make a difference, we encourage you to apply!

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of New York.
• Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) required.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of respiratory care procedures and protocols, WILL ADMINISTOR positive pressure and aerosol therapy and need recent acute setting experience
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as necessary.
