Wastewater Collection Division Manager

As part of Wastewater Collection Division, you will work with various groups to support the mission and vision to protect the environment and public health of residents of Fairfax County.
This position oversees contract activities related to the repair and replacement of sanitary sewer pipelines, manholes, and other critical wastewater collection infrastructure.
Summary of Responsibilities :
Plans, schedules, and executes planned and emergency repair projects focused on the renewal and improvement of pipeline infrastructure and associated facilities.
Secures procurement and contracting services, essential to project execution.
Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders, including community members, to ensure effective engagement and communication throughout project lifecycles.
Ensures full compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations and requirements.
Secures all necessary permits and approvals required to initiate and complete projects.
Reviews engineering plans and technical drawings to verify compliance with contractual and regulatory standards.
Manages construction activities and conduct field inspections to confirm adherence to project specifications and contractual obligations.

Have proven success managing multiple priorities / tasks with competing deadlines and be able to work in a team environment.
