Position Overview

The Tax Manager will oversee and manage tax compliance and planning activities for a diverse client base in a public accounting firm. This role involves working closely with clients to ensure they meet all tax obligations while maximizing tax efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and review tax returns including 1040, 1041, 1120, and 1120S forms.
• Supervise and mentor junior tax staff and provide training on tax compliance and planning.
• Develop tax strategies that maximize benefits and minimize liabilities for clients.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IRS regulations and tax law changes to advise clients accordingly.
• Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information and provide tax-related guidance.
• Assist with tax audits and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
