Registered Nurse (RN) - Neurosurgery Unit

Position Overview : Join our dynamic 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit, where you will have the opportunity to care for a diverse and complex patient population, handling cases ranging from post-operative craniotomies to spine surgeries and strokes.

Compensation and Benefits : Advocate Health offers a competitive compensation range of $37.50 - $56.25 depending on qualifications and experience. Your Role : In this critical role, you will deliver and coordinate evidence-based patient care while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to promote safe and compassionate care. Apply your clinical judgment and critical thinking skills to support optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans, and implement appropriate interventions.
• Monitor patient conditions, anticipate changes, and collaborate with healthcare teams to adjust care plans as needed.
• Ensure patient safety by identifying risks and proactively addressing issues.
• Facilitate patient education and discharge planning through coordinated efforts.
• Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance departmental functions and patient experiences.

Qualifications :

Physical Requirements : Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry weights as needed during patient care, while also navigating the physical demands of the healthcare environment.
