About The Position

Description :

  • Join a high-performing OB / GYN hospitalist team in the Pacific Northwest. Provide 24-hour inpatient OB / GYN care in advanced, high-volume facilities with a focus on collaborative care, clinical excellence, and teaching opportunities.

📋 Job Responsibilities :

  • Deliver comprehensive OB / GYN inpatient care, including labor and delivery, obstetric triage, and surgical assists
  • Manage obstetric emergencies and perform GYN procedures
  • Support Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Emergency Departments
  • Participate in teaching residents and fellows
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team focused on patient-centered care

    • ⏰ Working Hours :

  • 6–8 shifts per month
  • 24-hour shifts (includes weekends / holidays as needed)

    • 💡 Skills :

  • Emergency obstetric and surgical care
  • Labor and delivery management
  • GYN procedures (e.g., diagnostic laparoscopy)
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Teaching and mentoring residents

    Job Requirements

    🎓 Qualifications :

  • Board Certified / Eligible in OB / GYN (within 5 years of residency) – Required
  • Washington State medical license (or willing to obtain) – Required
  • DEA license – Required prior to start
  • Prior OB Hospitalist experience – Preferred
  • Clean malpractice and license history – Highly Preferred
  • Must reside locally or be willing to relocate
