Description : Boston Public Schools seeks a highly qualified and experienced school librarian to join our community of learners and leaders. Responsibilities :
- Support students and staff in becoming critical thinkers and effective users, evaluators, and creators of information.
- Create a caring environment with equitable access to physical and digital library collections.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum through information literacy and diverse, culturally responsive texts.
- Manage the physical and digital collections, including equity audits, maintenance, selection, development, and organization.
- Provide resources supporting curriculum, current events, and school and community culture.
- Communicate library resources and programs to staff and families.
- Foster a love of reading and storytelling among students.
