About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its team. The CFO will be responsible for managing and directing the financial strategies and programs that impact the financial performance of the organization. The successful candidate will also serve as a key member of the Leadership Team, providing executive leadership and support. Critical outcomes for the CFO will involve supporting the Leadership Team with financial information and operational analytics, driving a culture of accountability, and leading continuous process improvement efforts.
Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a minimum of a bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with an MBA and / or CPA preferred. A minimum of 10 years of experience as a financial leader in an academic medical center or large community hospital setting is required. The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen, knowledge of the reimbursement system, and experience with performance improvement. Effective communication, leadership, and the ability to mentor and develop others are essential. The CFO must be a strategic visionary, collaborative, and proactive, with the ability to balance short-term operational needs with long-term strategic goals.
