Staff Accompanist

The objective is to have a professional pianist on staff to work with faculty and students as Staff Accompanist in the Department of Music. Primary Duties & Responsibilities : Accompanies choirs, vocal juries, vocal coaching, vocal master classes and degree recitals in addition to other department accompanist needs not to exceed 14.25 hours per week. The exact division of accompanying duties will be determined in consultation with the Director of Applied Music and Director of Vocal Activities. Working Conditions : Job Location / Working Conditions : Normal office environment. Physical Effort : Typically sitting at a desk or table. Equipment : Office equipment.
