Quote and bind new and renewal business with a focus on profitability and growth. Collaborate with senior underwriters and assistants to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service. Build and maintain strong relationships with agency partners. Utilize agency management software to manage accounts and documentation. Contribute to the growth of the business by identifying new opportunities and expanding the companys presence in key territories. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a frontline underwriting role preferably in the transportation or trucking sector. Strong knowledge of transportation accounts and agency relationships in the licensed states. Prior experience utilizing agency management software. Property & Casualty license is preferred but not required. Proven ability to manage a book of business and achieve profitability goals. Excellent communication organizational and analytical skills. Adaptability to new technologies and processes. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.

Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transportation Underwriter to join a dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a growing organization that specializes in providing exceptional underwriting services in the transportation sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in underwriting particularly in transportation and trucking and will play a key role in managing and expanding a book of business. This position offers the flexibility of remote work with occasional in-person meetings and events.
Compensation Package
- Salary Range : $70000 - $85000 (depending on experience) bonus opportunities
