We are seeking a reliable and service-oriented Front Office Receptionist to join our esteemed cardiology practice, Connected Cardiovascular Care Associates, in Rockwall, Texas. This position is responsible for ensuring smooth front office operations, including patient scheduling, insurance verification, and prior authorizations for testing. We specialize in all aspects of cardiovascular care including coronary, vascular, structural, heart failure, electrophysiology, and preventive cardiology. Essential Functions :

• Greet patients and provide a welcoming experience at check-in and check-out
• Collect and verify patient information for billing and insurance purposes
• Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls; the daily call volume is in excess of 300 inbound calls per day
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments
• Notify clinical staff of patient arrivals
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits via web portals and phone
• Process incoming referrals and complete insurance authorizations for office-based testing (including CTs)
• Coordinate follow-up testing and explain test instructions to patients
• Collect patient payments, including co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances
• Clearly communicate patient payment responsibilities
• Maintain accuracy in patient records and documentation
• Perform additional administrative duties as assigned
