Next Medical Staffing is working with a large health system in central Iowa seeking a Nurse Practitioner Emergency Medicine physician. The group is seeking a locum tenens provider until a permanent physician is hired. The level III trauma designated facility sees 11K patients a year. 12 hr. day and night shifts are available from 7 am to 7 pm or 7 pm to 7 am. The acuity level is moderately high for a rural hospital. The facility does have significant back-up including Anesthesia, Hospitalists, Primary Care, Pathology, General Surgery and Urology physicians. In addition, the facility has an electronic T-system medical record system.
